Hey, I’m Ryan Hutchings, and if you really want to know what drives my art, it’s all about blending two worlds that define me. By day, I’m a tattoo artist with over 16 years of experience, and by night, I’m a painter who brings a little bit of Louisiana to the canvas. Growing up in Louisiana, I’ve always been inspired by the raw, vibrant energy of my home state—its culture, its colors, its spirit. And I’m also deeply influenced by the free-form, expressive nature of graffiti.
For me, painting is about taking that Louisiana soul and mixing it with the wild, chaotic essence of street art. I start with a blank canvas and let the paint splatter, capturing a kind of untamed energy that feels like home. Then I shape that chaos into something elegant and meaningful, turning the unpredictable into a beautiful narrative. In the end, it’s a reflection of who I am: someone who finds the beauty in chaos and transforms it into a piece of Louisiana-inspired art.
